Arlington at a Glance
Arlington is in Tarrant County, between Dallas and Fort Worth. Its Entertainment District includes AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, and Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers, along with Six Flags Over Texas. The University of Texas at Arlington anchors the city's downtown.
Beyond game days, Arlington has a lot of everyday appeal: River Legacy Parks along the Trinity River, Lake Arlington, and neighborhoods with a wide range of price points and home ages.

Getting Around
I-30 runs east to Dallas and west to Fort Worth, I-20 crosses the south side, and SH 360 runs north toward DFW Airport. Arlington does not have a traditional bus or rail system and uses an on-demand rideshare service for public transit instead.
Arlington Homes and Architecture
Most Arlington homes are single-family houses built from the 1960s through the 2000s, with newer construction in the north and south. Many 1970s and 1980s homes have solid layouts and are prime for kitchen, bath and lighting updates.
Arlington has many 1970s–1980s homes that hide good floor plans behind dated finishes. When you tour one, look at the layout and natural light first. Paint, flooring and lighting are the easy part.
