Seller FAQs
What should I fix before selling my DFW home?
Start with anything a buyer's inspector will flag: leaks, electrical issues, HVAC service and visible foundation or roof concerns. Then focus on low-cost, high-impact updates like paint, lighting and hardware. I'll give you a prioritized list after a walkthrough.
Do I need to stage my home?
Staging helps buyers understand how rooms are used and makes listing photos stronger. Many homes only need partial staging: editing furniture, adding lighting and styling key rooms. As a designer, I can plan that with you.
What disclosures are required when selling in Texas?
Most Texas sellers complete a Seller's Disclosure Notice describing the known condition of the property. I'll provide the form and explain each section, though you should answer it based on your own knowledge of the home.
How do you decide on a list price?
I study recent comparable sales nearby, current competition and your home's condition and features. Then we choose a price strategy based on your timeline.
